With the start of a new year brings the hope of new beginnings. The Ohio String Teachers Association welcomes all members to consider making a donation of their time to the organization. We are in need of Board of Directors members, people to take on special projects, and those who are eager to get involved with the business of supporting string playing and teaching in the state of Ohio. Now is the time to get involved. All of us are being asked to do more with less and unfortunately that means that people are more likely to withdraw and our organization, like all organizations, is loosing it forward momentum. Now is the time to engage so that you re-energize. Take a moment to consider how you energy, effort, and ideas could make a positive impact. Please read the latest newsletter to see that positive things that we did in 2010 and think about what you can contribute in 2011.
If you are interested in getting involved please download one of these forms and see that you return it to Kathleen Horvath at kah24@case.edu. Your help is greatly appreciated.

This year we are have made some major changes to the traditional schedule followed at OMEA so that our meeting does not conflict with the performance of the Cincinnati Orchestra. So, we divided the reading session with Stanton’s Music to happen on Thursday January 27, and then our Business meeting will be for breakfast on Friday. Come join us for breakfast and take part in what we have to offer.
